Assistant Professor at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU), Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE

I am a researcher and academic in the field of Computer Vision and Deep Learning, currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, College of IT, UAEU. Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I completed my Ph.D. from the Intelligent Media Lab, Sejong University, Seoul, South Korea under the supervision of Prof. Sung Wook Baik in 2018. I had the honor of working as a Postdoc researcher with a wonderful mentor Prof. Abdulmotaleb El Saddik for one year (2023-2024).
My research spans a broad range of topics including content-based multimedia analysis, precision agriculture, and medical image analysis.
